  • Our Customers: To care about each of our customers and their needs, providing the best service they have ever experienced.

  • Our Communities: To reach out to our communities with our time, skills, and finances, and provide support for the young people who are our future.

Our People:

peopleMoore’s works hard toward the goal of making this the best place our people have ever worked. Moore’s offers its partners a generous benefits package, training programs, and tries to provide an enjoyable working environment for all. We strive for partner involvement in many activities including contests, picnics, and our annual Christmas party. We also try to keep all of our partners informed about what’s going on in the company with our “Connections” newsletter, safety bulletins, and monthly meetings. In 2002, we began a process to change the leadership culture at Moore’s to one of Servant Leadership. By partnering with Jim Hunter, we are helping our leaders become Servant Leaders. A Servant Leader is an egoless leader who treats people with respect, and works for the good of the team, not the self.

Our Customers:

customersAt Moore’s, integrity is our highest priority. We are fanatical about treating our customers with the highest level of integrity and respect. We have been, and shall always be, a company who puts the customer first, by caring, cooperating, and servicing their needs. Being “Customer Centered” allows us to remain a dynamic, strong, growing and competitive company, in a highly competitive marketplace. We have found, and continue to believe, that this focus leads to our continued success in building Lifetime Relationships. In 2004, our Customer Service Group implemented our customer E.A.R.N. program. The objective of the E.A.R.N. program is to earn the right to retain our customers and develop their business through a planned visit schedule. This program will better our relationships with our clients to help them reach their goals.

Our Communities:

communitiesMoore’s works hard to give back to the communities we have helped to build. We are actively involved in many local civic and business organizations around Virginia. As part of our vision, we work to support the youth of our region by supporting youth related activities such as sports teams and sporting events. Our young people are our future, and at Moore’s, we value family and community. In 1999, Moore’s began donating 10% of our net profits to charitable organizations. In recent years Moore's has helped to support the March of Dimes, Habitat for Humanity, the American Red Cross, Junior Achievement, CATEC, and many other organizations. Moore’s Electrical and Mechanical Construction, Inc. is not just building in our communities; we are shaping our communities as well.
